Freon MO79 (R422a)
Freon MO79 is very easy to use, is an HFC that does not damage the ozone layer, serves to replace the mixture of R22, R502, and HCFC (eg, HP80, HP81, R408A) for commercial equipment and industrial refrigeration systems for direct expansion at low temperatures.
Freon MO79 is suitable for use with both traditional and new lubricants, and in most cases, there is no need to change the lubricant type during the retrofit process. Freon MO79 is an easier retrofit option than R404a.

It is recommended to use lubricants, mineral oil, alkylbenzene and polyol esters, in most cases it is not necessary to change the type of lubricant during the retrofit process.
Lubricants are determined by a number of operating and design conditions, in some complex systems. Piping configurations, POE may need to be added. Minor equipment modifications (e.g., replacement seals) or extensive adjustment or replacement of devices may be required in some applications.
